Finally, our long journey has been completed. The renovation process on our new location was arduous. The commitment made to our donors to avoid borrowed funds unless absolutely necessary lengthened the time span, but it was the correct choice.
On January 12, we began the moving process from our home of 26 years, to the very first place where Mission Services has operated on one floor. This has been a tough journey, but it is now a reality. Even though we were moving only 15 miles to just east of downtown Knoxville, such a move is not simple for our ministry. Moving a 12,000 pound four color printing press, large and small folding machines, a 3000 pound cutting machine and all of the technical equipment required an incredible team of highly trained people.
The result is a very efficient and comfortable place from which to serve ministries and missionaries around the world. Though our Heidelberg printing press was out of commission for most of three weeks, we were able to complete several mailings on our other equipment. Now, with everything functioning as it should, we are ready to continue as God gives opportunity.
We are grateful to all our faithful supporters. Their generosity enables us to develop and maintain websites, shoot and produce high quality video and publish a wide array of print communication materials...all at subsidized prices for world missions. Thank you so much for making all this possible.
